Sleep Study for OSA

Prior Endoscopy report, operation report

Please bring a copy previous endoscopy or operation reports as they are useful in consultations.

2 Week Dietary Intake Diary

pH Manometry for reflux sufferers

Patients with suspected gastro-oesophageal reflux disease can be investigated further starting with an endoscopy. Please bring any previous manometry studies. Any further testing will be referred by Dr Spiro.

Blood Tests

  • FBC

  • EUC

  • CMP

  • LFTs (COAGs if synthetic function abnormal)

  • Fe Studies (if anaemic)

  • BGL random > BGL fasting > HBalc (if known diabetic)

  • CRP

  • ESR (if inflammatory bowel disease is suspected)

2.

Imaging

  • Ultrasound

  • CT

  • MRI

3.

Ancillary Tests

  • Pulmonary function test

  • Trans-thoracic/trans-oesophageal echocardiogram

  • MIBI

  • Cardiac stress test

4.

pH Manometry for all oesophagial hernia patients

.Patients with suspected gastro-oesophageal reflux disease can be investigated further starting with an endoscopy. Please bring any previous manometry studies. Any further testing will be referred by Dr Spiro.
